Choosing a backsplash for your kitchen
The backsplash protects the wall behind the counter and sets the tone for the kitchen. Here are the most common options.
Full-height slab
A quartz or stone slab that runs up to the cabinets gives a continuous look, with no grout lines. It's easy to clean and the pattern carries up from the counter.
Tile
Tile offers a lot of choice in shape and colour, like subway, hexagon or mosaic. It adds texture and pattern. The grout needs a little more upkeep than stone.
